Docent Program
The Florence Museum involves volunteers to participate in dynamic and engaging opportunities such as providing customer service, supporting administrative tasks, working with specific audiences, facilitating art experiences leading tours of the permanent collections and special exhibitions for school, public and private audiences and more.
Prospective volunteers should be passionate about art, natural sciences and/or history, enjoy interacting with the public, and be able to make a six-month commitment to a weekly, or every-other-week schedule. Required orientation provided by Florence Museum staff.
