The “Hidden Museum” focuses on the lesser-known corners of the museum’s permanent collections. Some groups of objects were donated by individuals in the museum’s early years and constitute “mini-collections”; other objects on display may not fit conveniently into our other primary collections areas, but are interesting and eclectic. This rare glimpse at art and objects “from the vault’ is sure to offer something new to both long-time and first-time visitors as we highlight treasures from our permanent collection.

“These pieces are interesting and eclectic, but they just don’t fit into the museum’s primary areas,” Florence Museum Executive Director Andrew Stout said. “So this exhibit it a way for us to showcase these items. This rare glimps at art and objects from the vault is sure to offer something new to both long-time and first-time visitors.”
