The Florence Museum’s American Civil War Collection includes uniforms, weapons, military camp accoutrements, medical instruments, documents and photographs. Complimenting the museum’s permanent holdings is The Francis A. Lord Civil War Collection, on indefinite loan through the courtesy of the Drs. Bruce and Lee Foundation. These combined collections represent a country at war with itself, and tell its story from both sides of the conflict.
