March 13th – May 27th, 2012
Carl Blair and Laura Spong are familiar names in the world of South Carolina contemporary art. Combined, their paintings reflect 100 years of study, development, and professional exhibition.
This exhibit, guest curated by Wim Roefs of Columbia’s ifART Gallery, will feature a selection of recent works from both artists which demonstrate the continuing strength of abstract painting in the 21st century.
An opening reception will be held at the Florence Museum the evening of March 16, 7:30 PM. The public is invited to attend.
