55th Annual Pee Dee Regional Art Competition

The Pee Dee Regional Art Competition is the
longest running art competition in the state of
South Carolina. Each year since 1953 the
Florence Museum has undertaken to exhibit
contemporary art from the Pee Dee region.

This year 50 entries from 39 artists were
accepted from over 200 submissions. These
works display a diversity of media, scale and
subject matter, reflecting a wide range of artistic
vision and technique.

Winners for this competition were announced at
an open-to-the-public reception on Oct. 23rd.
